Busch's Grove, located in Ladue, Missouri, is an outstanding historic site and a focal point in the surrounding community for the past 116 years. Award-winning architect /design firm, Rockwell Group, took the rustic charm of an 1890 country restaurant and, with a keen eye on the future, transformed it into a tantalizing contrast of yesterday and tomorrow, light and shadows, wood and glass. These contrasts meld into visually inspiring spaces—from the Cove Bar, the Grove Room, the Cove Dining Room, the Millard Backerman Private Dining Room to the Cabin Dining Rooms—that celebrate both tradition and innovation.
The Busch's Grove menu features contemporary culinary concepts as well as old favorites, such as crispy lobster, Seafood Tower, filet mignon, lamb chops, prime rib-eye steak and fresh seafood flown in daily and prepared to your taste. The restaurant's exceptional state-of-the art Sushi and raw bar features dishes prepared for a variety of palates.
Busch's Grove presents live music in the Cove Bar six nights a week, to accompany your favorite spirit, wine or beer selection. The Grove Room houses one of the region's most extensive wine lists, with over five thousand bottles stocked from floor to ceiling. Our wine selection rewards both the enthusiasm of the aficionado and the exacting standards of the connoisseur.
The Cove Room, the restaurant's main dining room, celebrates the Busch's Grove alfresco tradition through the natural textures of stone and tree branch, expressed in sculpture, décor and light. And the legendary Busch's Grove rustic cabins return in four private dining "cabins" that evoke the conviviality of their predecessors in a charming tribute to the past.
IN THE TRADITION OF BUSCH’S GROVE
Since 1896, Busch's Grove has been both a landmark and a premier gathering place for generations of St. Louisans and their guests. Guests in horse-drawn carriages, model T's and stretch limousines have arrived to dine, drink and socialize in style in this extraordinary establishment. For business, government and community leaders, for media and sports personalities, local gentry and those who simply wished to share in the tradition, Busch's Grove was an institution, not just a restaurant.
Lester Miller, proprietor, has taken this treasured history and created a new Busch's Grove that honors the past and embraces the future. We hope you will see that care and respect in the architecture, the décor, the menu, and above all, the hospitality we offer. Please join us soon and enjoy the growing tradition of the new Busch's Grove.
